Eh… Who says the last 2 items don’t count as a course? Can make us happy or not? Just agree that it is a 5 course dinner… cos we are the chefs!
Chefs Melvyn and Terence. Ok we do less retarded pose next time.
Alright, here’s how you prepare dish 1, “Melvyn’s Cat Guarded Stewed half-chicken”
You will need:
- A half chicken
- Garlic
- Onions
- Water
- Oyster sauce
- Salt
- And one hungry house cat from your house mate.
Here’s the steps:
- Defrost the chicken and in preparation to stir fry it
- Keep a look out for the cat that attempts to jump on the chicken every now and then
- Try deboning it and give up because the breast is still frozen. Prepare to stew it instead
- Adjust your position to keep yourself between the chicken and the cat
- Marinate it thoroughly with oyster sauce and salt and repeatedly shout “No, Minette! (name of cat)”
- Throw in garlic, then followed by onions
- Look around the house for cat food because you realize that the cat hasn’t eaten the whole day
- Throw in the chicken and let it stew with water
- Finally find the can of cat food
- Cover the frying pan with a lid smaller than the pan. (It’s Melvyn’s special dish. Don’t question the cook why he used a smaller lid… riiiight… because we can’t find the correct lid lah can?)
- Throw in a couple of eggs if you like... we did.. just for the sake of eating eggs
- Prepare to serve!
